Karisa Bruin

director | writer |

actor | improvisor

I’m currently in post-production on Labor Relations, an absurd comedy exploring the inanity and insanity of work-life balance for working mothers - a woman who goes into labor at work and keeps right on working while she delivers her baby.

My short romcom UberEx premiered at Dances With Films in 2018.

Broke Juke, which I wrote, produced, and acted in, can be seen on Amazon Prime.

My web series Why Does Mommy Cry? is a comedic take on being a new mom and crying a lot.

As an actor, I have recently been on your television flying with a new baby in a currently airing Southwest spot or geeking out at Kate Hudson in a commercial for Fabletics.

I have a BA from Dartmouth College and an MFA in Screenwriting from DePaul University.

I perform regularly with my improv team Deep Schwa in Los Angeles
